Anthropologie Window Dressing

When you walk by an Anthropologie window display and see hundreds and hundreds of marshmallows tied to the ceiling by fishing line you say to yourself, "Hey! That looks pretty cool!" But do you ever wonder who tied all those marshmallows to the ends of those strings? And how long it took them? And if maybe they went a little crazy wondering what the meaning of it all really was? I don't. Because I know first hand... The window concept for spring is "birds" and I spent hours and hours today cutting out hundreds of paper birds while watching Labrynth and Christmas Vacation and The Big Labowski, and Simpsons Christmas.. and oh..I get to do it again tomorrow! And the honest truth is I enjoy my job.

Christmas

Piper calls Christmas "Chrimas" and it is music to my ears when I hear her say it. I just think it is so cute. Also Piper got tired of opening presents. She just wanted to play with the things she already got. And when I would ask her if she wanted to open something else she simply said, "no."

My sister is expecting AGAIN!! And since I love Piper all the way to the moon and back I seriously can't wait for another little one to come!!! I'm going to go stand outside on my front step and yell at all the passing cars that we are having another baby! Also!! I know what the gender is but I can't tell ANYONE until after my Mom's Surprise Pizza Birthday Bash.

Dr. Line and his wife Fafa

My mom had to give me an early Christmas Present (frosting decorating appliance) because she was throwing a Christmas party. And she apparently has some interesting friends. She invited Dr. Line and his wife Fafa who are evidently "fegans"- vegans who eat fish. Therefore I was commissioned to make these golden vanilla vegan cupcakes with lemon buttercream vegan frosting. Also, Fafa has a broken arm so she needs to eat just a little bit of meat.
