If you are ever on the island of Oahu and you want to do something really amazing I would suggest this hike. This hike takes you from the foothills in Koneohe to the very top of the mountains overlooking both sides of the island. We started our journey at 3 in the morning and were at the top of the mountain just in time to see the sun rise. It was truly incredible. This hike is scary and dangerous and there is usually a guard at the bottom keeping people off of the stairway, however the view from the top is definitely worth the climb. This is one of those things that I’m going to look back on as an old woman and thank my lucky stars that I had an opportunity to see it.
