The proposal

Conor took me out to eat at this really cool place
called Blue Hour in Portland.
We had amazing fondue and eavesdropped on strangers.
Then we went to a cute little movie theatre downtown and saw
"An Education"- it was weird. But I LOVE weird movies.
Then Conor took a little detour over to officers row
to this big beautiful white gazebo and gave me a bracelet.
The bracelet had lots of little strange and unique rings on it.
I had pointed it out to him over Christmas break and told him that
if he ever popped the question I wanted my ring to look
just like this one (the most beautiful ring on the bracelet).
And well, Conor just wouldn't be Conor if he didn't go and
have my ring made to look just like that one.
He had my ring tied in to the bracelet with all the other rings when he proposed.

So, save the date! We are getting married September 4th 2010
 in the Portland Oregon Temple!

I hardly have time to blog with school and graduation and work
.... and now all I want to do is look at wedding web sites.
Please forgive me if this blog turns into an inspiration board for my wedding.

No apology needed, I am so happy for you and can't wait to see all the details of you wedding unfold. It will be so great. And 9-4-11 sounds pretty great! I am so excited for you, if I saw you in person I would trip and scrap my knee just to show you the excitement you once showed me:-)

I love your proposal drawing and how he got your ring made! Also, I saw An Education and liked it, but I don't think she really got an education, because she still made all those mistakes and still got accepted to Oxford. So maybe, she just got a really good education....I guess that is the best kind of education, making mistakes, having fun and getting everything you want.
