Fast for John

Last night a group of our friends were skating at North Shore skate park. Apparently a few guys came out of no where and started beating everyone up - including girls. It is speculated that they were on meth or some other drug. Our dear friend John Hathaway was hit in the head with his own skateboard and then hit several more times with a metal pipe. (This makes me sick just typing it). Police were called but never showed. Our friend Greg picked up John's body, carried him to the car and drove him to the nearest hospital. John's skull is fractured from ear to ear and he is in and out of consciousness. He is currently in the ICU but should be moving out soon (which is great news!). Tonight we are planning a 24 hour fast on his behalf. We pray that he will have a quick and full recovery. Please join us in fasting and praying for this great guy and for his family.
